SD-WAN is making an increasing huge impact on how networks are being thought of and designed allowing for multiple connectivity options over secure prioritized links. These new designs are looking down to the application layer to make decisions on how traffic should be routed. Redundancy options have become much easier to deploy with real-time responses. SD-WAN also give great insight into traffic consumption and trends. This presentation will give an overview of the technology as well as examples of how SD-WAN is deployed.
